Ebola has touched the west coast of Africa and now has come to the midwest in the US. This disease is very frightening, but with the proper precautions it can be avoided. The first thing to understand is the symptoms of the virus. These symptoms include fever, aches and pains in joints, headaches, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat and unexplained bleeding. Even though there no cure for Ebola, there are still precautions to take to prevent from catching this deadly virus. Do not handle bodily fluids from those infected, practice healthy hygiene habits such as washing your hands, avoid areas where the virus is most prominent and lastly, if you work in health care use the proper clothing and gloves. There have only been two cases in the US reported as of today.
