Muslim-friendly cosmetics or "Halal" makeup is a type of makeup that can be worn by women of the Islamic faith. Daily Mail reports that, Halal means that there is no animals,alcohol, or blood used in the ingredients. The following cosmetics lines essentially have the "seal of approval" for women of the Islamic faith. Makeup can sometimes only come in shades of ivories and nudes, catering to women of European descent. The makeup not only has healthier ingredients, but also caters to more skin types. Arabia: MSN reports that these are the top 10 following cosmetic lines that are Muslim-friendly.

1. One pure: Layla Mandi, the Canadian who converted to Islam and moved to Dubai launched her own line of “Halal” cosmetics called One Pure that are alcohol/ pork free.

2. Hussana: A UK-based company that launched in 2008 with a wide range of makeup, and body-care products.

3. FX Mineral Cosmetics: FX stands for Fuschia Xtreme where the three sisters behind the cosmetics range were inspired by a colorful palette. Their products are cruelty and alcohol free.

4. Saaf: "The founder of Saaf, Dr Mah Hussain-Gambles, is herself a force of nature. She first created a skin balm for her mother which quickly soothed away the condition that no other cream had touched." - Saaf
