ISLAMIC FASHION TO HELP STIMULATE MALAYSIAN ECONOMY

In Malaysia, the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Nancy Shukri says that Islamic fashion can help stimulate the economy . Shukri has been quoted as saying, “Islamic fashion industry can be the potential economic engine for the country and compete in the international market”. She continues with, “She said nowadays the Islamic world was growing more prosperous, the style of modern Muslim women was evolving while Islamic fashion was expanding globally.” Shukri is saying that with the big following in the Islamic faith and the influence of fashion can help grow the economy in Malaysia, so that the country of Malaysia can compete in international markets. The growth of the internet is also an aid to the Islamic fashion, the economy of Malaysia and the influence of Islam.
